While I do some stuff at home (mostly the glueups), Ever since I moved to a small villa, I do the big stuff at a Men's Shed where I have access to a table saw, bandsaws, thicknesser and a jointer. You could always join a shed.
They do have them in the UK but nowhere near to the same extent as in Aus (I think). I did make enqs where I am but decided to spend vast quantities of money on tools instead!
