Groovy. I know that a number of acoustic guitar luthiers use Tassie Blackwood. I wonder what it would be like as a solid body. We use it where I am currently working. Never laid hands on till then. Aside from the variety of hues it comes in, the weight realy caught me off guard... not much heavier than basswood.I was considering buying some for the V, if it wasn't for the fact that I had that Mahogany and lucked out with scoring the Walnut offcut.
There are a couple of affordable planks floating around on eBay if the urge takes you…
