As promised, a few more pics.
The finish on the body is deliberate. You can see the texture of the body wood through the almost gloss finish, and is the reason I didn't sand before buffing. The wood texture is even across the entire body and is only visible when very close and with the light at the right angles, but from 3' away the reflections on the corners/edges give the illusion of being a high gloss finish.
The pick guard definitely needs more work to center up the PU's. As it is it does have quite a nice tone through my 4x10" Eminence cap.
