Is this going to be another hollow or semi-hollow with your signature slotted headstock? Curious whether this will be in the Charlie Christian vein or a departure ;-)

The plan is to put together a Strat stained with a dye we use at work called, “Haematoxylin”. Using the dye is integral to this build as it will be a retirement present for someone who has relied on this dye all of their career. This will be my first solid body build. I’ve given the dye a little test on some pine and it is close to mahogany, but not quite the same. As staining is a must for this project I was hoping to receive a kit that will take kindly to staining, as opposed to something that would be better off painting. Maybe I just have to order and hope for the best.

Update: I thought the Ash body was the only option, didn’t see the basswood. ST-1 ordered. Payment was a bit glitching…payment has left the bank but items are still in the cart.
