That over time with possibly heat and dust just stop working They say if you clean the molex connectors thoroughly with ProGold this has sorted out the FireWire issues.

Has anyone encountered an issue with the power supply harness in the Digi 002R? I had a disaster last night where the firewire bus stopped working in the middle of a live recording. Lost the entire second set. I came home and looked around the internet and discovered there's an issue with the molex connectors that distribute power to the different boards. I cleaned the connectors with ProGold and reseated them and it seems to be working fine, but I wish I'd known this yesterday. http://www.deoxitgold.com/?progold_info=1
