What did you use for the ceruse? Are you planning to apply enough clear to flatten it?
Thanks mate. I used some of the kids paint rubbed across the grain and then wiped off with the grain. Should just be a subtle enough highlight to avoid it being totally BLACK as I've got all black hardware to go on too. I'm not concerned with getting it flat, I'm after a textured finish on this one. There is imperfections already due to using the floor boards and you can see the join lines etc. So I want it kind of ratty and not sterile 100% perfection. Will start the satin poly coats this weekend.
