    Looks good!
Too bad it's missing two strings

    Thanks Simon

This morning I couldn't contain myself and finished this thing off. I only remembered to take a pic of the copper taping and forgot all about taking one of the wiring because I was so keen to get it all together. The soldering itself was EASY. And I haven't picked up a soldering iron since 1998. So if anyone is reading this and having thoughts about whether or not you'd be able to solder - I say go for it. It took me all of 5-10 minutes.

And here are some of the final pics. I have a few more but don't want to spam/might save them for GOTM submission (with no chance for April!!).

I had such a great time building this bass and I plugged it into my guitar amp (Vox A15R) this morning and have been playing away ever since to some old favourites. Once I get a bass amp I will upload some video. I also will do a proper set-up sometime this weekend. The action is a little high at the moment.

I can't wait to finish my next one.. and start another one. Any questions for newbies (as I am one!) let me know

Gorgeous. I'm a bit biased with that colour though.

I didn't notice the figuring in the maple headstock before. I like it!

Great colour combination, I like it a lot. And all finished in under four pages.
