Yep, I know but I had a change of mind when I came to the switch after ordering parts. I was going to use a mini switch originally, but felt too small and underwhelming when I lined it up. Most of the parts for this guitar I already had, so it wasn't a big order. I might just add one to the list of future parts orders and change it when the time comes. Maybe Ill see if I can throw some colour at it when I do the final assembly. Do I paint the knob pointers too?
I wouldn't. The whole point (no pun intended) is to see them.Do I paint the knob pointers too?
I'm presuming you mean the metal pointers that get locked on by the nut under the knob.
edit to add: (2 more cents)
I like the contrast of the chrome switch with black tip. I think the cream tip looks out of place more than tying in with the pickups.

Leave the little bit of chrome that's there IMO.

Pretty cool.
What's the material tacked onto the top, leather?
Did you build all of those guitars in the rack?

Cher bro! It's a pleather material, which I coloured and scuffed up a little to taste. The LP behind this one and the ash offset down the back are the one's (in this rack) that I built. It seems tapatalk well munted these uploads - the quality is terrible. I'll try and fix that up when I'm at work and get a chance.
