    @Shazzrandom: I'm not an expert in guitar cabling, but you seem to have a lot of long unshielded cable runs.

    To the more knowledgeable guys, could these be the issue, picking up noise from TV, lights, etc?
    As an electrical engineer who hasn't touched real electrical engineering for 20 years it all looks like a lot if nice antennas.

    Shazz, were you in the same conditions when you tested it clean the first time? Ie. did you have less electrical devices on around you and were you testing in the same place in your house?

    Heya Fred, yes, exact same environment. I had my phone and iPad, guitar amp and also the soldering iron. I'm thinking the unsheilded cables could be a lot of the issue...
