Sorry to hear hear of Adam's passing. While sad, I am glad that it could be in his home, and I love the image of him jamming on...

I only knew Adam through email and through the forum, and a few YouTube videos. Nevertheless I have the same impression of him as Tim. I'd been burned on my first kit (not from PB) and was gun-shy about a purchase from a place in Australia. But I was impressed by the forum, and Adam was a great help. One thing that set him apart was that he actually checked everything he sent me to make sure that it was complete, and the fit was good, before it embarked on its 20,000km journey. He also sold me my favorite bass neck of all time--one that he special ordered to meet my specifications...and on and on.

I am also grateful to him for this forum. It has been incredibly helpful when I have run into problems or didn't know how to do something. It also provides a space for returning the favor. Lot's of loyal PB customers on the forum. But Adam also created a space for "all comers" which diversified the skills of the folks using the forum and encouraged creativity. In contrast to many builders' forums this one has an overwhelmingly supportive vibe, driven by a love of the process and the instruments. That spirit always emanated from the top. It still does. We're fortunate that he passed on the business to a kindred spirit.

Rock on, Adam!
