i think youve done a cracking job mate, for a first timer youve ended up a pro. And the guitar looks like is was made with that colour not just a patch up job.

I was always afraid of ruining it but actually it's very forgiving and allows for the odd stuff up. Like anything practice is the key. I think I wasted a whole can just getting it down pat. Also doing about 15 coats of clear helped getting no sand through.
