    Should work as it's the glue that's sealing the surface, so you need to break that seal. Again, dampening the wood after each cleaning attempt (better using metho or turps than water) should show up any areas that still require work. If the fluid can penetrate the wood under any remaining glue, then so will the stain.

    Could be an issue with Dingo Tone though, best check with DB first
