    just wondering anyone on here from North of Adelaide who can give me a hand with some minor things?

    yeah it's just my nut is a bit high. i'm not confident in filing it down that much. but it's not that bad it's just my high e is a little bit dingy..

    Gibson.Fender did you watch DB's video on how to file down the nut? It's pretty fool proof

    Sorry I'm from Brisbane, I'm no luthier, but I've done my F style and G style nuts in accordance with this and they worked out brilliantly.

    Sorry I'm from Brisbane, I'm no luthier, but I've done my F style and G style nuts in accordance with this and they worked out brilliantly.
    F and G style? can you please explain

    something more original would be cool

    have a look at the video link Andy40 posted.

    It's really not that hard to sand down the bottom of a plastic nut - main thing is to have the sandpaper on a flat surface and hold the nut flat when you sand it. You should be able to remove the plastic nut with a pair of pliers

    is that DB'S video? seemed straight forward. but then again..
