    Guitar stand plans?

Anyone have any plans for a classy guitar stand? I saw some nice swoopy/curving looking stands in the US but I don't have that kind of money for stand nor the ability to bend timber. I've googled and spent the afternoon going to dead ends or stuff made out of plastic pipe and broken up pallets.
I spent most of the cooler months 2yrs ago renovating the office/study and the $12 Ebay black stands just don't cut it.

I've got mine mounted on a wall with forward facing guitar hooks. Arranged in the right way you can have yourself a piece of art!
It also gives me that "walking into my favourite guitar shop as a kid" kinda feeling.. Obviously this won't work if you don't have a free wall..

I have 2 on-line stores (Swords, Knives etc), plus my art/design so I spend a lot time here, may as well make it a nice place to be

I see you're into collecting Japanese Katanas, and other such swords, there's a camping shop in the Casuarina Shopping centre that stocks some replica Katanas, been wanting to buy myself one.

I have a on-line store that sells high quality ( not stainless steel sword like objects) katana's prices start around $700. If you buy a stainless steel sword DO NOT TRY TO CUT WITH IT! Stainless is too brittle for anything over a 15inch blade, it will snap and someone will lose an eye..........

The proper traditional Katanas were made from a metal called Tamahagane, weren't they?, and the blade was differentialy hardened so that it had a hard outer shell which retained the edge and a softer inner core which absorbed shock and prevented the blade from shattering, the two different types of Tamahagane used were called Shingane and Kawagane, the differential hardening is why a Traditionally forged Katana can be used for cutting without breakages.
