Front of the body finished, tool pathed and output to the machine


2 pieces of 18mm Marine ply laminated together (one flipped to counteract any bow)


Machine started. Outline cut and starting to rough pass the blade


Pockets for pickups cut

nice progress Bry, your CNC machine looks a good size !
The shape looking great already.
Once the prototype is built and tested you can source some nice tonewoods and build the real thing.
36mm thick body would be about the minimum for a bass guitar I'd guess

This axe will look killer once it's Finn-ished. I should Prubs stop with the puns before things turn too sour though.
