Thread: SV-1 Morticia

    SV-1 Morticia

Here's a rudimentary concept outline of what I plan to do with the SV-1 kit I scored from a Sunday Special recently.
Considering I have an Addams Family pinball machine in an Addams themed room, I'm thinking "what could be cooler than to build a Morticia Addams guitar & hang her in there?"
The pic below shows some preliminary ideas. I'm also toying with things like a portrait of Morticia on the back of the body etc.
The plan is to mildly mod the SV-1 and keep the guitar looking relatively uncluttered.
The colour scheme will be violet with a black 'burst and white detailing. Black hardware of course.
I've got hold of a fabric red rosebud, Mannequin hand, 500k sliding pot & a couple of other goodies already.
I don't expect to be starting on this until 3 other axes in the works are done & dusted.

    Cool project Max.

What about a coffin shaped cover for the rear route?

I foresee another great axe being pumped out of the Max Factory very soon.

I always love watching these builds progress.
