I was so pleased with the last kit I bought, a single coil mahogany body electric (30 coats of Tru Oil, the finish quick to apply and fabulous result) that Ive started a Les Paul-like twin humbucker guitar.
See how that goes. I was pleased to see it had a two piece Tune O Matic style bridge , the previous guitar had a one piece bridge which I feel may reduce the life of the strings.
I have bought Grover tuners. I dont know if the investment was neccessary (and I suspect it might not be) but.....
I was dissapointed to see that there was no backing plate for the bolt on neck. The previous kit had one and Pit Bull's "how to" video shows one being used on anothet (tele?) style of guitar.
