    No worries Colin.

Impatient to wait for the switches to turn up, so decided to wire it without a switch.
Just wired the bridge pickup to the pot.
Bridge probably could go back a couple of millimetres (yeah I know but I had to check for myself hehe) so I'll do that after routing out the cavity for the switches.

Just fitted the Chinese strings for now (Ernie Ball ones were not included this time).

There doesn't seem to be a very wide range of adjustment on those bridges before the spring is really compressed. If you move the bridge back a couple of mm, then it looks like the high E saddle (at least) could really do with a longer adjustment screw.

Are you using the kit pickups or upgrading?

And, looking good too. Can't wait to see the stain on there.

Thanks Oli, and McCreed I'm using the kit pickups for the time being.

Right again Simon. This is the same size bridge that came with the kit.
When I move it back I'll use a couple of saddle screws salvaged from Tele Squier.
If they prove a tad long I can cut a bit off.

    Cheers DarkMark.

Blow the dust off the JVC video camera, search high and low for the power cords. (battery died yonks ago).
Re-install Movavi video editor...and then another search for the activation key.
A bit of editing and then the interminable wait for uploading to youtube.

    Another day at the office

    cheers, Mark.

    Strings off again.
I know where the tweaks are required.
Relocating the bridge will also highlight another issue.

It appears that the ground wire hole will coincide with the string-through holes.
