Thanks Brendan. Several months ago I built a guitar in Collab with a mate of mine "Steve" from Black Hart Airbrushing which was based on a wolf in Northern Lights. We both had a rough time getting around some problems and learnt heaps. He enjoyed it so much that he decided to do another one. This was posted on behalf of him. a Prince themed airbrushed JMA-1 guitar. Deep purple flake body. Pearl "Prince" logo airbrushed on the back and pickguard. Purple candy over the original Red tortoise pickguard, prince airbrushed onto headstock with a oil similar to tru oil on the neck. We also have a Slash Les paul on the way soon which will be posted in the non pitbull guitar threads at some point! or follow his IG: blackhartairbrush (if allowed to mention that)
    Thanks!

My bet for this month....actually my choices...

    1. Jellos PRINCE guitar. Just WOW to the artwork and reverence to the purple prince. An amazing build.

    2. This one was hard....but the uniqueness of Bakersdozens TELEMASTER build got me here. The flame on the neck, the grain on the body and headstock design are amazing....and my bent towards natural finishes helped me to put this one as runner up.

    Anybody else taking a punt?

This is my first attempt at a build. It's the spalted maple thinline tele with black binding (ATL-1SB). Upgraded the bridge with a Wilkinson and the tuners for grovers. The top and neck are natural Tru-Oil finish and the back is 3-4 coats of Feast Watson Black proof tint with Tru Oil. I am pretty happy with the result although I think we could have shut this thread down after those Telemaster pics!

Apologies in advance for poor photos.

Hand crafting guitars, because Death Rays are expensive.

    Entry from Mike Gordon...

Hope it's okay. My first build and what a learning curve. A TL-1TH kit with
recessed flushmounted control plate and jack socket and easy access neck profile added. Coil tapped Artist Bull bucker pickups and handmade pickup rings. I have since moved the bridge treble side back 5 mm.
