Gee thanks Woks! Very stoked.. I'm putting the stock chrome hardware on it but I've upgraded the pups to these bad boys:
    http://www.porterpickups.com/product...ps/classic.php
Also upgraded the pots to Bourns, orange drops and a switchcraft input.
I'm gonna go for black pup surrounds and get a 3ply black truss cover. I'm toying with the idea of putting on a 3ply black pick guard too
but I'm unsure of where to get one that'll measure exactly.
Do you know if the pick guards are fairly standard size wise?

Get in touch with our resident pickguard master, PabloPepper. He ought to be able to help with your guard.

Haven't posted for a while because my build has slowed down somewhat.
I've been building a speaker box to load my newly acquired celestion greenback into and I've finally finished!

The other hold up has been the decal for both my es1g and my esb4. After messing about with multiple attempts
at printing my own (total disaster and waste of time) I sucked it up and got a pro to do it.
I used Rothko and Frost and my decals just arrived today- I am stoked with the print!
I designed the logo myself with the letters JLE - Joanna, Lucas, Eva (wife, son, daughter)
then uploaded a 3 layer photoshop file (white, gold, black) to the website and $40 later these arrived!

Very pretty design and impressive quality!! Another R&F customer here! Be careful with those decals when performing, they're very thin and too much water soak will melt them...i know from experience

I was going to order some decals off them myself, they look good, albeit a bit pricey.

Yeah tony they are pricey.. I choked when I saw the price for my two 3x3cm decals -£25! But looking at the fine details of the print they look worth it to me. The gold looks cool. I will definitely practice a few times (they send you a blank to play with) before I apply the real one because it'll be an expensive stuff up if I don't get it right.

Another R&F user here. Decals are very high quality and happy with them. For fans of the naughty oil - not compatible with Tru Oil finish (from memory I think this is mentioned in their instruction sheet). You need to use lacquer - I've used Nitro with success.

    Thanks for the tip, Darth.

I downloaded their Photoshop template, but all the colours are in the palette. The instructions imply that there are only Black, White, Metallic Gold & Metallic Silver in the template, and they insist that you ONLY use those colours, but I can't find them anywhere.

    I'm using CS4.
