So body or pick guard mounted.....find it hard to understand theoretically how you can get a cleaner signal with body mounting the pickup....such a huge velocity change between wood and carbon steel.....might just try both options and listen for a difference !!!!
And wouldn't it be nice if you could get more than 100% efficiency from a pick up.....
However, seeing that Einstein is starting to be proven wrong with some of his theories ( speed of light being a constant and it not being possible to travel faster which has now been proven incorrect after the detection of neutrinos travelling faster)...maybe just maybe it is possible......
