Hey Rick, looks pretty good to me with more depth of colour and also spread more evenly over all the surfaces. Once you get a shiny top coat on it will really come to life.
Got myself a flame top tele a week ago and bought some inkjet cyan blue tonight at officeworks hoping to mix up a turquoise colour. If it comes out as good as yours I will be a happy man.
Yeah, agree that the end grain tends to soak up much more colour than the face grain on top and bottom surfaces.Originally Posted by wokkaboy
