    Don't do anything to the trem until you have got it strung up to tension, and even then wait until you have had the chance to play it like it is for a while. Like DB said the strings will bring it right down. I am confident that once you have done this you will discover that no bending will be necessary

    Yeah, I will wait till it's settled and see how high it is. If I feel it would be more comfortable to adjust the bar I will do it at a later date I don't want to snap it or anything!!
