cheers Doc, I'll be getting more of the Kent Armstrong mini humbuckers it's resistance is about 13k ohms so it's a pretty hot pup.

They're nice sounding pickups, my Gibson Les Paul Studio has a Gibson 490R installed in the neck position and a 498T in the bridge position, they look like silver PAFs but have a more modern voicing, I'm really liking them alot, what were you using to get that distortion sound?
