Doc if the frets don't stay seated and have lifted they may need new frets or a couple of drops of thin superglue might help them stay seated

That's something I could look into before I go ahead and level the fret, I was contemplating removing the fret, bending it a bit to get the ends to seat better, and then re-seat the fret, the ends of the fret aren't very high off the fretboard, you really need to look closely at it with a X10 magnifier to see it.
Hey Doc sounds like you live in a country town when you say you know somewhere to buy brasso and superglue, Darwin do have a good range of shops don't they ?

Actually, Darwin is the capitol of the Northern Territory(at least I think it is), where I live is about a half-hour bus ride from the Darwin CBD, and about a twenty minute walk from the Winnellie Supermarket and Post Office, yeah there's a few good shops, including the naughty green shop (ie:Bunnings) in Bagot Road, sometimes you come across the odd bargain now and then, across from Bunnings is my local Jaycar Electronics shop where I sometimes buy electronic components and tools, etc.
Hey Doc,
ColesWorths should have Brasso.
