    PabloPeppers Notched Straight Edge.

I arrived home today, and low and behold there is a long thin package on the doorstep.

I ordered a notched straight edge from Pabs, now I've only had the thing a few minutes but I've already learned something:

I am really crap at judging a straight fretboard by eye!!!

Thanks Pabs, this thing is going to get a work-out.

(Oh and thanks for the custom picks, I'll try 'em out real soon).

Hey Rabbitz, great bit of gear hey. I got one a while ago and makes neck fret levelling so much easier. It takes the guess work and error out of it.
The picks are pretty cool as well. Can really hit the strings hard

If I'm going to be doing some fret-levelling work on my Chibson SG, I'll have to get one of these for myself, along with a fret-levelling sander and a couple of fret crowning files too, oh, and some fine grit sandpaper as well, Stewmac sell a set of Fret erasers, they're like pencil erasers but contain various grades of abrasive grit:

Hey Doc I got 3 of the grades of fret erasers they are pretty good and polish/smooth the frets nicely. You will wear a groove in them but you have quite a few faces on the erasers to rotate and use another edge of them when they wear down
