so I've got all the labels on and it's had one coat of clear. Sanded some of the joins of labels so it's a flatter and got another clear coat on. I'll have to sand back any proud labels again

haha cheers Ponch, that's the best part of this build collecting the labels ! Luckily I have collected my favourite beer bottles and display on behind the bar. Now I've started the 2nd beer label axe I will need to drink more beer - bugger

that looks great now its all covered, i reckon use a thrashed out white pickguard with it though, the chrome doesnt match quite so well now haha
@ Ben, sure I may save the chrome mirror guard for another chrome axe attempt. White or black pickguard may work better I will post some pics next mock build. Was it you that suggested I put bush chook/wife beater (Emu Export) label on ? hahahha
@ DB there may even be some of your beer labels on there but yes building guitars is thirsty work ! It was probably 2 or 3 nights worth DB as most of the craft beers on there aren't cheap

Looks awesome Warren, have to agree with Ben, messed up white pickguard would look better.
Its been a while since I have checked out the "Chrome ST-1" thread. I think it might have still been chrome!!
