Thanks buddy, appreciate the kind words.

Up date from where i left off, i have been working on getting the neck completed this week after work each night before it gets dark, i shaped the neck, was trying to copy my real fender usa strat neck thickness, it ended up a little thinner but i think its still ok for a first try, i took off most off the excess wood with a 40 grit flappy disk on a grinder then went at it with a rasp and file. After that came the frets, im positive i did the process for the frets wrong but i got there in the end, i wanted to glue the frets in so what i did was mask up each side of the fret slot, ran some super glue along the fret slot the quickly pulled the tape off and then smashed the fret in the slot. the first few were a little difficult but once i got the idea of what i was doing it wasnt to bad, this was my set up.Click image for larger version.

i had my radius block under the red towel so my neck had something solid to hit it against.
After that i filled down the edges and put a little bevel on them, ill do a final fret leveling and crown after i put my finish on it.
ill post some pick of the neck in the next post.
