haha nice one Barge I remember that paintshop and we were a bit worried about how the notes would fret over that huge hole. It's also a pretty wide neck cuz!
Looks like the Barge and Woks show is back ruling the forum dawg

No point getting hung up on the details, after all dudes are playing 8 string guitars and look at those fretboards. And that hole is for sloppy players, when you miss a note you just say it "fell down the hole".

I like the scoop on the back of the heel, it suits the build nicely. I'd double-check the length of the neck screws when they arrive before drilling the ferrule holes, as with the thinned heel and sunken ferrules even the short neck screws can sometimes be borderline too long.
    Scott.

Yep, I would put money on the fact that they'll probably be too long. They're apparently 45 long, so very similar to the screws that ship with the PB kits, so I reckon I'll be grinding at least 5mm off the bottoms to make em' work.

If that happens, out with the hackasaurus and shorten the blighters a tad.

There is always a workaround for glitches, mistakes and other Guitar building gremlins.....

Gonna have to I reckon. Four screws poking through the fingerboard probably not the best look, although I wouldn't mind betting it's happened to some poor schmo somewhere in the history of guitar building.
