It needs a black pickguard with black pickups and gold hardware! That will make it more stunning!
So it turns out I overlooked the fact when doing the initial mock-up that the neck on this kit has a terminal twist which has consequently made the setup of this instrument pretty much impossible. They say to check these kits before building, which is fair enough to a point but a fault such as this isn't exactly strikingly apparent until all the stings are on and you're already heading for the home straight. A total noob would never pick up such a fault until the very final stages of the build, but because he didn't pick up the issue at the onset, the blame falls squarely on him.
So once again I've thrown time and money and meticulous customization into a build, only to discover it's all been for naught and I've pretty much built an elaborate wall hanging.
Bugger, man... That sucks...
I know it would be a pain after all the customisation that has gone into the neck already, but couldn't you just get another one and go from there? People swap necks out on guitars all the time, so I don't see why it should be too much of an issue, besides having to redo all the shaping you've painstakingly slaved away at for hours.
As DB says "There is always a workaround for glitches, mistakes and other Guitar building gremlins.....". Hopefully you can get this build back on track, man.

Yeah, man. Lack of funds is always an issue. I was a uni student for 4 years, I know your pain.
Maybe get in touch with Adam about it? If it's a fault in the product PBG's Quality Guarantee should cover it. Plus, knowing him, he would be wanting to see this incredible build screaming some tunes just as much as the rest of us. All is not lost, mate - Stay positive.![]()

Noooooooo! That's so ****** **! Sorry to hear that man.
Like West said - talk to Adam. I'm sure you can work something out. It would be a shame if it would become a wall piece.
