Thanks Scott.
Stan, never done a burst before so thought I had better try it out. It serves a few things, gives me better knowledge and control of my gun, gives me practice on how to blend and cover the guitar top and lastly let's me play around a bit with colours. Was even a little fun.
If anything that I have learnt playing around with stains is that mix it lighter and you can always add another coat - you can't go backward.
Not the best day for spraying but seemed to come out of the gun ok earlier.
Not bad for my first attempt at a burst but not 100% happy with my darkest colour blend. Forum opinion - would you go back and try and transition the dark colour a bit better? It looks a little red in this photo, must be my camera's processing. It is all brown I tell you.
Thoughts?

That is looking outstanding, Kane. You have done wonders with that veneer. I wouldn't be touching it.

Wow, that's a great job. I'd be reluctant to change it.
