I wasn't actually suggesting that GH's tele was walnut. I was suggesting that a dark Tele like GH's or TD's would go well with a fur coat and a rooftop concert.

Fair enough, my mahogany Thinline Tele is a nice dark(ish) brown

I have widened the Pup pickup routes to allow for a humbucker in the bridge position (and also routed out the neck just in case I want to use it later). I used my old template from the 2022 thinline scratchy builds. Also drilled out the holes for the volume and tone controls. I have room for a switch for a coil split of the humbucker if I want one - I probably will.

Good point. I have not done one before so it must be time to learn! I'll order it ASAP.

Added an arm contour using a Shinto rasp-saw. Then sanded with 180 and 240 g.
