The zero fret is interesting - I did not know that they can be used on all necks!

Plus, you are correct with the wires - Yellow wire is hot to the tip of the jack plug.

I hope not. For some stupid reason, I googled this, and they are surprisingly large...about 2mm. Also I am probably going to have nightmares from the description of bee mating habits.

...Easy to install as you cut behind the nut into the fret board instead of in front of it. I assume the action will be nice and low.

That's what it looks like. Hope you'll report back. I am thinking about a trem on an upcoming build, this might be a good addition.

Right now I’m wishing I kept a record of the wiring I did before. From what I can find it looks to me that the yellow wire from the middle volume pot tab and one of the black wires on the back go to the output. The other black wire on the back of the volume pot goes to the spring claw.

1+ to what TD said on the wiring. The unattached yellow is definitely hot, and the two unattached blacks are definitely grounds. But there are a lot of yellow wires there that are being used as grounds.

So, if it's any consolation it might not have helped to keep a record. The only way to know what the unattached wires do is to trace them back to what they are soldered to. You can't otherwise assume that yellow is hot since there are a bunch of yellow grounds.

Thanks! So far so good, but there are a lot of tough selections out there. Some of the African teams are surprisingly good...and then you look at where they play the rest of the time and it's not so surprising. I am dreading the possibility that USA and Colombia will meet up. My wife and children will all be wearing yellow jerseys and I may end up sleeping in the garage.
