This work build is now finished. The body and neck have not been polished. The tuners are Grover locking in black nickel. The logo is 3-ply pearloid pickguard material with a Cricut vinyl sticker. I replaced the all-black and covered kit pickups with open style.

Yes, the pickguard material is inlaid into the headstock. I have done the same on a number of builds - check out the MBM-1 headstock at https://www.buildyourownguitar.com.a...l=1#post227426.
