The new owner of PitBull has not yet posted (to my knowledge) on the forum, but he's been announced ;-)

You could probably post there to let them know about your interest. I am not sure whether they'll be able to accommodate your request or not.

What sort of humbucker do you have in mind? It's funny how there are lots of custom pickguards available for Teles and Strats, and even J-basses, but you don't see them much for P-basses. Maybe because the p-bass pickup in not usually what people mod on a p-bass. It's more often something like adding a pickup.

Routing a new pickguard is the simplest approach if they don't have a custom option...probably the cheapest as well. You can have a place like WD Music make you one to your specifications, but that's pricy. That might be an option if you don't feel good about your router skill.

Another option if you don't feel good about your router skills is to get a p-bass pickguard that has not been routed for a pickup, and cut a square hole where you want pickup. A rat-tail file can be used to cut the "ears." The hole doesn't need to be perfect if you use a plastic pickup ring around it. A router is the easiest/fastest way of modifying the cavity under the pickguard, but it's not the only way. It may not look quite as tidy, but you'll be the only one who knows that since it will be hidden by the pickguard.

I have thought about doing this with a Bill Lawrence bass humbucker that I bought to have backup for pickup I thought was failing. The "failing" pickup turned out only to have a failing ground, and is still going strong. I love the sound of these pickups so eventually this pickup's going into something... Will be watching your build with interest ;-)
