The factory always seems to be changing the wire colours and components on the JM kits, as discussed in this thread. The images below *should* work for a lefty kit's configuration. The ‘switch output’ wire will be the opposite lug of the volume pot for a standard ‘righty’ kit.

If you have a 7-lug/pad switch it connects as per below. If you have an 8-lug/pad switch then the centre two lugs both connect to the Volume/Switch Output wire.

The above gives you Tone 2 for the Bridge pickup and a shared Tone 1 for the Middle and Necks pups.

(Oops, was supposed to post this for the other thread, same info tho)

Hi WeirdBits, appreciate your work across the forum, have saved my life a few times on other builds

Currently wiring up a JMA-1, and have the 8 lug panel - it's also reversed compared to the JM-1s I've seen. Can you confirm that this is what you meant with that?

Here's the rest of the wires, different colours (as always) but I believe the pots are wired up the same as the above.

    Cheers!

(Edit: Just saw what you said about the lefty/righty, not sure if that's why mine is reversed? It's a righty for clarity )
