This is my second build from Pitbull, decided to go with a Les Paul style this time round.

Got it early in the year with great plans to work on it, but kept pushing it aside for other jobs.
Many hiccups along the way, mainly in getting veneers the right colour, being unhappy with said colour, and getting a little too excited with a sander, ruining the plans of a matching body and head. After months on waiting for more veneers to arrive, I just couldn't get the colours and patterns to match, so gave up and came up with a new plan, and made a custom truss cover with whatever scraps I could find.

Truss rod plate and back plates were 3D printed to match shape, with a veneer glued, stained and oiled, as well as a printed washer to go in the body to lower the switch, stood way too high without it.
Only changes made from the standard kit were the plastic plates printed for colour (or removed completley), and a set of DiMarzio pickups to give it a really nice sound.

Despite its few imperfections, I am very happy with the end result. Will be a keeper on the wall for a long time, and has quickly become my go-to choice for bashing out some tunes
