    Thanks.

I was trying to work out whether the line below the bridge pickup was the scale length for a TOM placement or where the edge of a bridge plate would go. If the former, it seemed a bit close to the pickup, but as it’s the latter, it’s all fine.

This hunk of pine is not being nice to my tools at all (sticky, knotty), so I’m leaving this as the St Kaizen prototype. Pretty happy with it so far though. I think I can go even more extreme on the angles and profiles, so that's a good bit of data.

I'd just think about where you're going to put things like strap buttons and have you got enough wood on say the top horn to take a standard screw at the position you'd want a button?

Where are the controls going? Are they rear mounted on on a flat section of the body? Or scratchplate mounted? You probably don't want them sitting on a transition between flat and angled, as that will make a rear control cover very awkward. On the front you could do a PRS-style knob indent, but that wouldn't work well for a rear cover.

In the top picture you can kinda see where I’m thinking of placing controls, mounted on a half scratch plate. I’m thinking either a 3-way toggle plus volume, or just a single volume with push pull to switch between neck and bridge (no mix).

I’ve got a couple of thoughts about the output jack. Either something relatively slim on the side, or a boat on the top.

    Strap buttons should be fine.

Yep, that’s the one I’m considering.
