I spent a few hours on the neck today.
Head stock shaped and sanded. This is as close as I could get to the original without adding a bit more material to it.
I have reshaped to a flatter D shape, more akin to an Ibanez as I prefer this profile.
Brass nut was a slow process as it was hard to cut but got there and it polished up nicely.
Frets levelled and crowned. I also rolled the fret board edges.
Some lacquer applied that will be sanded smoother in a week or so. Just waiting for the Gibson logo water slide to finish it off.
