I think Eric67 had the same issue with the bridge ground wire not being drilled. See post 10 of this thread.
As for the wiring diagram. Is it "Two Humbuckers to 2 Pots and a 3 way Switch" ?

It is indeed. 2 humbuckers, 2 pots and 3 way switch however the diagram in the website doesn’t have all the wires coming from the pickups
