    The design’s only real drawback is that its cutout doesn’t allow you to make the most of having 24 frets. I’m sure you can modify your playing technique to stretch up there, in the way LP players have to stretch to get to the upper frets, but it’s always nice when you can just keep on playing in the high registers without thinking about it.

    But there's nothing stopping a bit of body modification…

    Agreed, but I tend to stay away from the dusty end…
