I'm from Indiana
Building a set neck kit guitar flying v. Got the body and neck on ebay. Parts for it are hipshot locking tuners, hipshot baby grand bridge, Bill Lawrence L 500XL bridge PU and L 500R neck, have a white pick guard and a black pearl looking one. Checked neck for straightness and leveled the frets. Polished them to a very nice slick shine. Grain filled the mahogany neck and body. Neck is finished in many coats of thinned tru oil. Body was sanded down after grain fill, put on a 1# cut washcoat of Ruby shellac. Sanded it down, but not all the way through the washcoat. Hit it with some red water based dye. Then put on several more layers of Ruby shellac. Sanded it back to 800 grit. No I'm on the 10th coat of thinned out tru oil. Body has a worn look like red paint has been sanded off, but not all the way.
