Yeah, usually they have a minimum charge. Generally price is based on the area of the vinyl cut. I got an A3 sheet cut locally for my flying v project and it was $30. I loaded up all the unused area with logos.
A plotter is fairly high on my workshop wishlist. So handy.

I have an idea, Sonic, that could use some tidying up or finishing. I'm building The Hobbit & arrived at name/logo that embodies the theme - Hobbitone, where the "H" is a stylised bass clef. The image I made an attempt at uses the Music Magic & Music Elements fonts. Without graphic tools, some of my touch ups are a little rough. I'd like the final result to be 65-70mm.
