    Got the major assembly stuff done today. Few more things to do including wiring. I've just chucked the kit strings loosely on to see how it looks. I appear to have been a bit too paranoid with my high 'e' alignment, I've given myself probably an extra mm on that side. I think it'll be OK and I'm probably lucky it's not worse considering the bodge. I gave it a quick polish, bit it doesn't seem worth going for a showroom finish. If it goes a year without cracking I might pull it apart and give it a proper cut.

    Oh I also decided the speed knobs were too big so I went to Jaycar and got some smaller black aluminum ones.

    Overall, considering the many stuff ups and general slap dash approach, I'm pretty happy with the result. I'll be interested to see how it plays after electrics and the setup are done.













    I think I can see myself re visiting the Flying V in a future build done to a higher standard, It's turned out pretty cool style wise.
