I did try that Sonic, but it was too much gold, I just want slight traces. I have gold strings for it as well. I do like the Brian May gold 9's from Optima, have them on a few guitars now.
Btw, here's an idea for someone crazier than me. Grab one of these kits, copy the bottom horn to the top, air brush the top as an Alien head with the headstock being the second mouth that shoots out. Yea I know......and I'm not even on drugs.
