Some progression made; I sanded the neck with 400 grit, just to make it smooth again and then gave it another two coats of black stain. Also applied more red and black the the headstock:
Next, I applied the porefiller to the back and sides of the body. Only difference with yesterday when I did this on the neck was that I now rubbed of all the porefiller immediately after applying it.
That already gives a supersmooth feeling to the body. And the result looks like this:

I'll let it cure for an hour or so and then start sanding. After this I'm gonna start with applying the sunburst to the back. The sides will become black... Can't wait!
