Picked up the missing control plate from the post office today. Finally the kit is ready. On the walk back home thought about the guitar and totally changed my plans as far as staining. I'm thinking of doing a weathered look body and head-stock top (i saw that it's possible to do a chemical stain with vinegar and steel-wool) and a walnut stain on the back and sides. Would this be good. As I said I've seen the weathered chemical stain with SW and vinegar, Has anyone done this and can give me any pointers? Lastly what final coat should I use (not a massive budget btw)? Thanks in advance
