Yep, I agree mate, looking back at last year I reckon a lot of the trouble I had with the first few coats of Gold Paint were most likely due to the weather we were getting at the time, which was a bit humid come to think of it, so this year I'm going to make sure I give the paint enough time to dry properly, I've got plenty other guitars to play in the meantime anyway.

Cheers mate, will do, I'm just imagining what the Gold Strat is going to sound like played through my Fender Super Twin amp head once it's all sorted out with a speaker box, and it's had some TLC work done to it, should sound pretty good.

That Fender Super Twin amp is rated at 180 Watts RMS of pure valve power, makes my ears ring just thinking about it.

Absolutely, all I'd need to do is point the speaker box in the right direction, crank it up to max, and then strum the most bone-jarring Death Metal power chord riff I can think of and let it fade away into screaming feedback, I'd call it my Super Weapon of mass destruction, it'd be sure to really annoy the people arguing outside cause they are all into bad HipHop music.....*lets out a long evil-sounding laugh*...revenge on them will be sweet.....lol.

Yep exactly...lol...out of tune-ness in that case will actually be a big bonus in making the generated noise even more irritating to the people arguing outside my flat, and if they complain about it then I'll say to them "Now you know how annoying your arguing is to me", hopefully they'll get the message and move on to some other place.

I'm sure DB would agree, since he was going to use a similar tactic to deal with some noisy neighbors, speaking of DB, I've notice that he hasn't been in the forum much lately, I'm guessing that he's been a bit busy, which is understandable, hope he's okay healthwize.

He did mention that he'd had some 'unexpected issues' over the Christmas period and the first part of this year that were taking his time up. But seconded on hoping he's OK.
