So decided to fit the the new markers. Old ones removed easily and needed to widen the holes to the 6.5 of the marker. So used a standard 6.5mm drill bit and widened. The holes in the fretboard were pretty deep and needed to be filled. So the only thing at hand was some paper towel and tamped down a bit at a time and lightly soaked in superglue and gradually built up to the required level. Glued in the new markers and then filed down to level before sanding back.
A little more fine sanding to finish and then can start the fretwork.

Fitted a black Tusq nut and filed to size. Was looking at the standard TRC and was a little long and didn't look that good, so glued some Shell to it and reshaped to fit a bit better with the headstock.

See now Im wanting to do my Guitar Blue now

Has anyone done any colouring or tinting of their bodies with printer ink at all? I'd use the Dingotone, but some of the colours I want are obviously not in DT. (like purple for example).

This setup looks gorgeous - am keen to know what paint you used on the face.

There's a fair few builds that have been done with printer and other inks. I did this with blue and black colourtone dies.

Dingobass is playing around with some purples at the moment, but they are not quite ready yet. Send him an email for more information.
