You could do, I remember reading in one thread somewhere, that a builder had achieved a nice even brown using coffee. No specification on dark roast or decaf though.

When I worked for a Big Insurance Company based in Queen Street a few years back it always used to crack me up when one of my male colleagues would order a skinny half strength decaf on soy or almond milk! Why bother wasting money on something that tastes so bland?

My motto is if you are going to drink a decent cup of coffee make it a good strong one and have early in the day if you are worried about caffeine keeping you awake at night.

My local does a triple shot dark roast long black that enables you to see across the burgeoning gulf of time itself........

There's nothing like a good decent cup of strong coffee to perk you up in the morning, I have a packet of Robert Timms brand Coffee grinds in my kitchen cupboard which I'll empty out into the coffee jar in the morning, I was waiting till I'd finished-off a small jar of Maccona brand instant coffee before I opened up the packet.

I can drink 3-4 cups of espresso coffee and not have a problem, 1 cup of instant and yowsa, jitters galore.

That's interesting, for me it doesn't really make any difference whether I drink instant or ground coffee, the effect is pretty much the same, coffee contains a substance called Caffeine, Caffeine is basically a stimulant, I've read online somewhere that if a person drinks enough cups of coffee they can start having hallucinations, whether that is true or not is open to debate, I just made myself a nice cup of Robert Timms coffee and it was quite enjoyable, I used a product called Coffee Mate as a whitener, I definitely prefer the taste of coffee made from coffee grinds to instant coffee, which tends to have an artificial taste to it.

It's something in that "Artificial" quality that does it to me I'm sure Doc. It seems particularly bad with the powdered versions. Moccona less so, but it still gets me a wee bit.

Yay Mongrel! I'm getting my LP-1 today as well!

We shall share our builds on the forums!

Mine arrives today - I've told the missus that if she leaves the house today she can sleep on the couch. Her response to that was that I can sleep on the couch anyways. So YAY! More time with the guitar

*cough* I think Im developing an illness - I might not be able to go into work tomorrow... Might have to get a round of guitar body sanding antibiotics into me *cough... fake wheeze... cough*.

    YAY!
